YOUNGSVILLE--Melanie White Mohlmann, 43, died at her home on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018 after a hard- fought battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m..

Melanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marshall Thomas White Sr. and Bettye White; her father, Marshal "Jake" Thomas White Jr.

Surviving: husband, Colin Thomas Mohlmann; son, Ethan Thomas Mohlmann; daughter, Kailey Elizabeth Mohlmann; her mother, Karen White; sister, Leah and family; brother, Nathan and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wake Forest Presbyterian Church for youth scholarships in Melanie's name or to The Helene Foundation.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 2, from 5-7 p.m. at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
