SPRING HOPE - Geraldine M. Edwards, 76, died Sunday, April 30, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 2, at Ephesus Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Wakefield officiating. Entombment will be at a later date at Peachtree Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late George and Harriett Moore. She was retired from Hardee’s Food Systems where she worked as an accountant for 25 years.

Surviving: her husband, Alvin V. Edwards; daughter, Cindy E. Mitchell (Howard) of Wake Forest; and two grandchildren.
