ZEBULON - Linda Whitley Jones, 45, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 21, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, Knightdale, with the Rev. Phillip Lyon and the Rev. Raeford Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Christian Baptist Church cemetery, Zebulon.

She was born in Wake County to Curtis Whitley and Linda Carolyn Langley Whitley. She worked as a hairdresser for more than 20 years, with her last place of employment being Above and Beyond Hair Styling in Zebulon.

Surviving: husband, David Allen Jones; son, Zachary Allen Jones of the home; parents, Curtis and Carolyn Whitley of Zebulon; brother, Donald Curtis Whitley (Tammy) of Zebulon; two nieces and one nephew.
