ZEBULON - Hazel Whitley Privette, 77, died Monday, July 9, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Thursday, July 12, at Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon.

She was born in Wilson County, the youngest of 10 children and the only remaining child of John B. Whitley and Fannie Bissette Whitley.

Mrs. Privette was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Privette.

Surviving: three sons and one daughter, Gordon Privette (Patty) of Apex, Wayne Privette (Pam) of Wendell, Bill Privette (Karen) of Lumberton, Ruth Ann Boone (Charlie) of Zebulon; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
