CASTALIA – James E. “Kelly” Martin, 72, died Thursday, July 19, 2007. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Kelly-Martin family cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Shirley Austin of the home; daughter, Sandra Martin of California; stepdaughter, Shirley Thorpe of Durham; and stepsons, Ricky Thorpe of Wilmington, Anthony Thorpe of Raleigh and Tony Thorpe of Fayetteville.

Visitation will be today (Saturday, July 21) from 3-8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
