WILLIAM M. “BILL” BROWN


ZEBULON - William M. “Bill” Brown, 79, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, July 28) at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church, 4525 Hopkins Chapel Road, Zebulon. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Nash County to the late Emma Bissette and Albert Brown. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Brown was the owner of W. M. Brown Builders for more than 30 years.

Surviving: his wife, Inez Hodge Brown; sons, Bruce Brown of Zebulon, Steven Brown (Melody) of Zebulon; sisters, Magdaline B. Russell and Nan B. Heath; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin, Ralph and Joseph Brown, and a sister, Louise B. Brogden.
