RALEIGH - David R. Bunch, 65, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at his home. Services will be held at a later date in California.

Born in Oakland, Calif., he was the son of the late Robert and Mary Bunch. He was employed with Alcatel-Lucent as a technical staff engineer.

Surviving: his wife, Rita T. Bunch; daughter, Deborah A. Bunch of San Francisco, Calif.; sons, David M. Bunch of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dylan B. Bunch (Lou Ann) of Louisburg.
