FUQUAY-VARINA - Willis Burton Harrell, 82, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at Wake Medical Hospital. Family visitation was Monday, Sept. 3, followed by a memorial service at Thomas Funeral Home, Fuquay-Varina.

He was born in Speed. He served 33 months in the U. S. Army. Mr. Harrell was owner of Harrell’s Sew and Vac.

Surviving: his wife, Edith C. “Billie” Harrell of Fuquay-Varina; daughter, Donna Jean H. Pierce (James ) of Louisburg; daughter, Elizabeth Gail Harrell of Apex; brother, Herman Harrell of Rocky Mount; and one grandson.
