FRANKLINTON - James Samuel Person, 63, a native of Franklin County, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 in Paterson, N. J. Funeral services were conducted Wed., Sept. 19, at Manassas Chapel, Franklinton.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Perzell Yarbrough Person and Eugene Person. He relocated to Paterson, N.J. in 1965. He was employed as a truck driver for Bacon & Graham Co. for 20 years before his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alonza Person.

Surviving: his wife, Annie Mae Horton of New York City; sons, James Junior Horton of Paterson, N.J., Scottie Wester of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Ranson Person of Piscataway, N.J.; sisters, Margaret Young of Baltimore, Md., Mary Lawrence Hughes of Paterson, N.J., Oramae Person of Paterson, N.J.
