FRANKLINTON – Brian Phillip Welch, 29, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007 at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Sept. 28, in the chapel at Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest, with Pastor Scott Welch officiating. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Jacksonville, Fla., and was the son of Vicky Morris Welch and Jerry Welch.

Surviving: his wife, Samantha Welch; son, Jonah Welch, and daughter, Autumn Welch, both of the home; stepson, Trent Norman of New Bern; parents, Kerry and Vicky Welch of Wake Forest; sister, Tammy Welch Myatt (Danny) of Spring Lake; brothers, Michael Welch (Gwen) of Spring Lake and Scott Welch (Nikki) of Charlotte.
