YOUNGSVILLE - Mitchell Winfield Stoutt, 67, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, Raleigh, with the Rev. Jim Harry officiating. Interment followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.

A native of Wake County, he was born to the late John Russell and Gertrude Mangum Stoutt. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Professionally, Mr. Stoutt was an electrical estimator.

Surviving: his wife, Linda Parker Stoutt; son, Mitchell A. Stoutt (Carolyn) of Selma; daughter, Melissa Seymour (Frederick) of Raleigh; sister, Elizabeth Holt (William) of Wake Forest; and six grandchildren.
