VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Norwood Y. Rowe, 84, of the 90 Block of Diamond Springs Road, died Saturday at his residence. He was a native of Franklin County, Va., and an Army veteran of World War II and was a bricklayer.

He was the widow of Inez Moseley Rowe and is survived by two nieces, Angie Perry and Cathy Brewer, both of Raleigh, NC.

Norwood was well liked and cared for by his neighbors in Lake Shores.

A private graveside service will be conducted in Louisburg, NC at a later date.

Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Bayside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
