LOUISBURG - Louise Egerton Passmore, 101, died Monday afternoon, Dec. 10, 2007. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating.

She was a daughter of the late R.Z. and Lula Davis Egerton. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Passmore, and her daughter, Marion P. Barnes. She was also predeceased by her seven siblings, David Egerton, Courtney Egerton, Lawrence Egerton, Gray Egerton, Mary Stuart Myrick, Mary Frances Stone, and Florence Heartt.

Surviving: three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
