LOUISBURG - John Thomas Shockley, 46, died Sunday morning, Dec. 16, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 21, at Rock Spring Baptist Church, with the Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Shockley died while riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter NC F-2.

Surviving: his parents, Jan and Ron Tracy of Louisburg; sisters, Pam Shockley of Cary, Ronda and Daren Matthews of Columbia, S.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Spring Baptist Church, Building Fund, 34 Rock Spring Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
