BUNN

MOREHEAD CITY - Minnie Deola Lancaster Bunn, 99, died on May 23, 2006 at her home, Carolina House in Morehead City, North Carolina. She was born in Louisburg, North Carolina on January 3, 1907 to the late June Lancaster Bunn and Hattie Pierce Bunn. She graduated from Nashville High School and Louisburg College with a degree in Home Economics. Mrs. Bunn resided for over 75 years in Nashville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Andrew David ‘Pete’ Bunn and her beloved daughter and only child, June Bunn Jones.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Andrew David Jones of Morehead City, North Carolina, Andrea June Prang of Charlottesville, Virginia and Mary Elizabeth Schatzman of Fairfax, Virginia. The fourth generation of her descendents, affectionately known as “the cousins,” include Andrew David Jones, Jr., Duncan Reid Fuller Jones, Jessie Dean Prang, John Christian Prang, Andrew Asher Schatzman, Liberty Anne Prang, and Sarah June Schatzman.

A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 11:00 am at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville, North Carolina.
