LOUISBURG - Joseph Allen Patterson, 64, of Louisburg, died Sunday, January 13, 2008, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Atha and Lucy Patterson; brothers, William, Perry, Larry and Bruce Patterson

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, with the Rev. John Thrift officiating. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Surviving: son, Joey Patterson and wife, Charlotte of Louisburg; grandchildren, Allen and Brianna Patterson, Lindsey and Savannah Lee; sisters, Ann Denton and husband, Banks of Louisburg, Geraldine Matthews and husband, Danny of Louisburg, Joyce Wester and husband, William of Louisburg; brothers, Vance Patterson of Trinity, Charles Patterson of Franklinton, Jimmy Patterson, Sheldon Patterson and wife, Sheila, Robert Patterson and David Patterson, all of Louisburg, and J. W. Patterson and wife, Lisa of Youngsville.
