WAKE FOREST - Bobby Ray Parrish, 62, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Jan. 28, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Mike Jones officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was born in Duplin County, and is the son of Ella Susan Dunn Parrish and the late Jessie Clyde Parrish. Mr. Parrish was owner and operator of Lawn and Garden Service Center of Wendell, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving: his wife, Paulette Perry Parrish; daughters, Sherri Parrish Naceur Abouloula (Anas) of Clayton, Lauren Elizabeth Parrish of Wake Forest; sister, Rose Pope of Wendell; brothers, Gerald Parrish and Donald Parrish, both of Wendell; and four grandchildren.
