WAKE FOREST - William Herman “Bill” Steiner, 88, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008, attended by his wife and Hospice caregivers. Mr. Steiner was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ralph and Rose Steiner, on April 17, 1919; he later attended William and Mary College and was a veteran of the Army Air Corps in World War II, serving in England and France. Mr. Steiner was retired from City Investing Company, New York, New York, and later managed Carolina Antique Mall for several years.

A celebration memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, February 22 2008, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dick Graves officiating.

Mr. Steiner is survived by his wife of 38 years, Joanne; sons, William and Robert; four grandchildren, Katie, Courtney, Alycia and Sophia; and one great-granddaughter, Adrianna.
