ZEBULON - Ellen Ann “Nannie” Green, 77, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008.

She was born in Fazakerly, England, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Green. She married Senior Master Sergeant Richard Lee Stansell in Liverpool, England before immigrating to the United States. Mrs. Green was a respiratory therapist.

Surviving: six children, Robert P. Stansell of Raleigh, Catherine A. Rolison of Alabama, Donna M. Keller of Raleigh, Barbara C. Stansell of New York, Richard W. Stansell of Raleigh, Jacqueline D. Stansell of Angier; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, David J. Stansell.
