LOUISBURG – Alice Faye Medlin, 58, of Louisburg, died Wednesday evening.

Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Madeline Privette Chatman; daughter, Sally Chatman; and brother, Malcolm “Rabbit” Chatman.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Joe Medlin; daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Wayne Alford of Louisburg; stepson, Allen Medlin and wife Lynda of Youngsville; father, B. Chatman and wife Pat; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Pat Chatman, John and Frances Chatman, Charlie and Joanie Chatman, all of Franklinton; grandchildren, Chris, Haley, Jessica and Kristen.

Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Ebenezer U.M.C. Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
