ZEBULON - Elizabeth “Lib” Ferrell Murray, 88, died Friday, April 4, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 7, at Zebulon Baptist Church. Entombment followed in the Zebulon Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Willie Thurston and Lorna Baker Ferrell. Her husband, J. Thurman Murray, and her brother, Billy Thurston Ferrell, both preceded her in death. Surviving: daughter, Pat Jenkins (Robert) of Zebulon; sisters and brothers, Josephine F. Scarboro, Lillie F. Debnam (James), Sprite Ferrell (Melrose), Bobby Ferrell (Dearl); and one granddaughter.
