FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for James “Jay” Jones, 53, who died Monday, May 5, 2008, will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, May 10) at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emma Solomon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Shannon Clax of Hyattsville, Md.; sisters, Mamie Grant of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mattie C. Mann and Betty Milon, both of Louisburg, Rubie Jones-Elleby of Garner and Elsie Jones of the home; and one granddaughter.
