FRANKLINTON - Iola P. Medlin, 83, died Friday, June 2, 2006. Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 5, at Grace Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wes Bailey officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton.

Mrs. Medlin was preceded in death by her husband, Troy T. Medlin, and a daughter, Blondie Murray.

Surviving: daughter, Barbara Finch (Gerald); sons, Larry Medlin Sr. (Laura) and Allen Medlin (Lisa); brothers, Carl Pearce and Charlie Pearce; sister, Eva Catlett; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
