RALEIGH - Gina Marie Hicks, 49, of the O’Berry Center in Goldsboro, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. A memorial service honoring her life was conducted Friday, May 30, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of Yvonne Joyner Hicks and the late William E. Hicks.

Surviving: her mother, Yvonne J. Hicks of Raleigh; brothers, Jimmy Hicks (Kim) of Youngsville, Douglas Hicks of Raleigh; sister, Mary Ann Hiemenz (Larry) of Raleigh; 13 nieces and nephews.
