YOUNGSVILLE - Peter Wesley “P.W.” Knott, 86, died Monday, March 27, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 30, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating.

He was born in Granville County, the son of the late Lonie and Peter Wesley Knott Sr., and was retired from Burlington Mills. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII.

Surviving: his wife, Mae Paschall Knott; sons, Wesley Knott (Denise) and Mike Knott, all of Henderson; daughter, Tannis Rudder (Jimmy) of Oxford; stepchildren, Bobby Paschall, Barney Paschall, LaRue Perry, Linda Paschall and Cynthia Mc- Connell; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Church Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 tonight (Wednesday, March 29) at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
