LOUISBURG - Roberta Jo Cruze, 53, died Sunday, June 22, 2008. A memorial service honoring her life will be conducted at a later date.

She was born in Raleigh to Annie Ruth Young Cruze and the late Robert Dwight Cruze. Following high school graduation, she entered the U.S. Air Force where she served more than two years. She was a member of Bunn Baptist Church.

Surviving: mother, Annie Ruth Young Cruze; sister, Deborah Barbour (Dennis) of Louisburg; brother, Michael Cruze of Raleigh; three nieces; one great-nephew and two great-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to the Franklin County SPCA.
