LOUISBURG - Lorraine Olive Smith, 46, died at her home on Friday, July 4, 2008. Funeral services were Monday, July 7, at Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Gary Williams officiating. Entombment followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

Surviving: husband, John W. Smith; mother, Hazel Clark of Youngsville; children, Melinda Delaney (Mike) and Jeremy Couch, all of Louisburg; stepchildren, Buck Smith, Julie Smith, Kelly Smith and Chris Smith, all of Louisburg; sisters, Pamels Dowdy of Louisburg, Beverly Fountain of Wake Forest and Terry Lian of Youngsville; brother, David Avery of Youngsville; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Earl Clark, and her stepfather, Bob Clark.
