WAKE FOREST - James E. Faison, 72, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at his home. A graveside service was conducted Thursday morning at New Light Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Allen Murphy officiating.

He was born in Wake County, son of the late Lillie Denton Faison and Leroy Faison, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ardell Rudd Faison. Surviving: his son, Charles Faison of the home; sisters, Gracie Perry (Novlen) and Lillie Ann Bushey, all of Wake Forest; brother, Dwight Faison (Debbie) of Franklinton; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
