LOUISBURG - Larry Gragg Hendrix, 56, died Wednesday morning, July 9, 2008. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, July 12) at Duke Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will be private.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen G. Hendrix. He owned Hendrix Construction Company and was a long-time member of the Justice Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving: his wife, Donna N. Hendrix; daughter, Erika M. Hendrix; son, Ryan G. Hendrix, both of Louisburg; father, Jim Hendrix of Raeford; brothers, Jerry Hendrix of Carmel, Ind., Jeff Hendrix of Raeford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Justice Volunteer Fire Department, 4060 Hwy. 581 N, Spring Hope, NC 27882.

The family will receive friends following the service.
