WENDELL - Julius “June” Everette Carter, 79, died Thursday, June 15, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Julius E. Carter and Elizabeth Fowler. He was most recently employed with Food Lion in the customer service department.

Surviving: sons, Lawrence Carter of Zebulon, Robert Carter of Youngsville, Doug Carter of Smithfield, and Bobby Carter of Wendell; daughters, Carolyn Avery of Wendell and Diane Draper of Zebulon; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn M. Rogers Carter; one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter.

Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Mitchell Funeral Home.
