LOUISBURG - Russell “Tito” Medeiros, 34, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008. The family received friends Thursday, Aug. 28, at Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, Va. At the family’s request, services and burial will be private at a later date.

A native of Virginia, he was a resident of Louisburg, where he worked as a framer for a property management company.

Surviving: his former wife, Stacie Gribble, and their son, Kameron Gribble; daughter, Anastasia Medeiros and her mother, Desiree Merilic; mother, Nydia Melanson; sister, Dianna Medeiros; one niece and two nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

Local arrangements were handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services in Louisburg.
