WILSON - Jennie E. Lucas, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today (Saturday, Sept. 6) at St. John AMEZ Church, Wilson, with Presiding Elder Franklin L. Rush officiating.

Burial will be in Ft. Lincoln Perpetual Gardens, Washington, D.C.

Surviving: sisters, Beulah Mewborn of Snow Hill and Ruby Elmore of Louisburg; one brother, Lenwood Edwards of Greensboro; and a great number of nieces and nephews.
