ROLESVILLE - Robert Lee Jackson Wood Sr., 73, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at Rex Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Sept. 29, in the chapel of bright Funeral Home. Burial followed in Raleigh Memorial Park.

Surviving: his wife, Dorothy Jean Autrey Wood; children, Teresa Maiden of Brogden, Robert Wood Jr. of Rolesville, Shelby Hackworth of Ohio, Vincent Wood of Leland and Chris Wood of Louisburg; stepson, Curtis Dean Jr. of Wendell; sisters, Margaret McLamb of Kenly, Rowenna Bass of Wendell; brothers, George Wood Jr. of Cary; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
