WAKE FOREST - Judy Pearce Ray, 57, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 28, in the chapel of Bright Fueral Home in Wake Forest, with the Rev. Dr. Brad Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Minnie Williams Pearce and Julian Pearce. She was a former employee of Tom Togs in Youngsville and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband, Ronnie Ray; daughter, Judith Ann Ray of Youngsville; son, Rodney Ray of the home; sisters, Joyce Pearce (Wayne) of Castalia, Brenda Salisbury (Ted) of Cary, Marsha Perry (Jesse) of Bunn, Mattie Bean of Louisburg; brothers, Steve Pearce (Jackie) of Louisburg, Darrell Pearce of Wake Forest; stepmother, Lorraine Pearce of Youngsville; stepbrothers, Dave Carter (Marilyn) of Cary and Danny Carter of Youngsville, Larry Carter (Bea) of Youngsville; and two grandchildren.
