FRANKLINTON - Taylor Vann Bragg, 70, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008 at his home. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 28, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

He was born in Granville County, son of the late Ruby Hight Bragg and Owen Vann Bragg. He was a barber at Sawyer’s Barber Shop for more than 30 years and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving: sisters, Dianne Johnson and Lisa Wheeler, and a brother, Gene Bragg, all of Franklinton; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elbert Bragg and Dennis Bragg.
