LOUISBURG - Eddie Ray Edwards, 51, died Thursday, June 23, 2006. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today (Saturday, June 24) at Oakwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Reggie Rushing officiating.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Hurley Edwards Sr. He was a native of Franklin County.

Surviving: his mother, Cora Katie Edwards; brothers, Jimmy (Debbie) Edwards of Louisburg and Ricky (Diane) Edwards of Emerald Isle.
