RAEFORD - Joe C. “Buck” Gupton, 83, of 419 N. Donaldson Ave., died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the R. L. Douglas Conference B Headquarters. Burial was in Highland Biblical Gardens.

Surviving: daughters, Lessie Stubbs, Lena Baker and Earline Gupton; son, Joe Curtis Jr., all of Raeford; one brother, William Gupton of Henderson; three sisters, Doris Harris, Erma Gupton and Almarine Neal, all of Louisburg; and six grandchildren.

Arrangements handled by Buie Funeral Home in Raeford.
