RALEIGH - Funeral services for Susie Moore Alston, 110, who died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, were Sunday, Nov. 30, at Haywood Chapel Baptist Church, Louisburg, with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: one granddaughter, Dr. Pattie Pendry (Michael) of the home; and four great-grandchildren.
