BUNN - Ann Yates Scott Ballance died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008. Funeral services will be today (Wednesday, Dec. 10) at 7 p.m. in the Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, with Pastor John Lee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A private graveside service will be held for family and friends in Wakefield, Va., on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Wakefield Town Cemetery, conducted by Pastor G. C. Branton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First United Methodist Church.

Surviving: her husband, George R. Ballance Sr.; sons, George R. Ballance Jr. (Doreen) of Bunn, David R. Ballance (Teresa) of Virginia Beach, Va., Tom R. Ballance (Tammy) of Pilot; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
