ZEBULON – Alice Privette Tant, 73, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 1, at Pine Ridge Baptist Church cemetery.

A native of Franklin County she was daughter to the late A. C. and Lillian Pearce Privette. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Tant Moose, sisters; Pauline Allen and Martha Bass.

Surviving: husband, Robert “Bus” Tant of the home; son, Bobby Tant of Spring Hope; daughters, Darlene T. Perry (Elgin) of Youngsville and Brenda T. Perry of Wilson; brothers, Jay Privette of Pilot and Terry Privette of Zebulon; sisters, Pat Baker of Youngsville and Ann Patton of Rincon, Ga.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
