FRANCIS I. TULLY


BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Francis I. Tully, 82, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 of complications from pneumonia and congestive heart failure.

Visitation was Monday, Dec. 29, with prayer service, at the J. C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapel, 832 Broadway, Bowling Green, Ky. 42101. Funeral Mass was Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church, Bowling Green, Ky.

He was born to the late Joseph “Pop” Aloysious and Christina (Ferraro) Tully, the youngest of five children, and grew up in Belleville, N.J. He served stateside in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He had many occupations, his favorite being Trader Tully, a junkman/used furniture dealer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Bill, James, John and Marie, and his son, Tommy.

Surviving: his wife, Charlie; his children, Patty of Lakewood, N.J., Rissi Zweig of Loch Sheldrake, N.Y., David Tully of North Carolina, Francis Tully (Denise) of Sandy, Utah, Mary Saja of Miami, Fla., Annie Saucy (Oliver) of Pompano Beach, Fla.; stepchildren Karen Rua (Jay), Steven Davenport (Jeanne), Leah Rowland (Don); 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
