ZEBULON - Jean Elizabeth Horton, 47, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at WakeMed. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, July 8) at Zebulon Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

She was a sales associate with both Zebulon and Wendell Drug Co. and previously worked with Debnam’s Ace Hardware in Zebulon for 26 years. She was a graduate of Zebulon High School and Louisburg College.

Surviving: her mother, Elizabeth Burke Horton; sister, Martha H. Vinson (Steve) of Zebulon; one nephew and great-nephew; special aunt and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Edd Horton, and an infant brother, Samuel Barbee Horton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Zebulon Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 366, Zebulon, NC 27597.
