YOUNGSVILLE - Audrey Pippin Mitchell, 87, died Monday morning, Jan. 26, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, (Wednesday, Jan. 28) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Shannon Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell family cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Ollie Rick Pippin and Inez Mitchell Pippin.

Surviving: her husband, Joseph Wilson “Billy” Mitchell; sons, Jackie W. Mitchell (Patsy) and Josiah Ricky Mitchell, all of Youngsville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, LaRue Pippin.
