ZEBULON - John Wesley “Johnny” Curtis Jr., 51, died suddenly Friday, Feb. 6, 2009. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 9, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, Knightdale, with Dr. Alfred Wright officiating. Burial followed in the Bethany Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County to Adele Narron Curtis and the late John Wesley Curtis Sr. For many years, he was a supervisor with Standard Insulation. He was a member of Vision Baptist Church.

Surviving: mother, Adele Narron Curtis of Zebulon; sister, Judy C. Patton (Ed) of Raleigh; brother, Tony Curtis (Lora) of Zebulon; several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Curtis.
