Franklinton woman killed in wreck
A Franklinton woman was killed Monday morning following a high-speed, fiery wreck that ripped her car in half.
According to Trooper D.R. Simmons, Marianne V. Zona,  47, was rounding a curve on Sid Mitchell Road at about 100 mph when she lost control of the 2004 BMW she was driving.
According to the report, she ran off the road to the left and struck a tree just before 2 a.m.
