Louisburg, NC -- Funeral services for Lizzie Mae Newell, age 96, who died on Saturday, July 12, 2025, will be held on Friday, July 18, at 12 p.m. from the Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC.
Born Sept. 18, 1928, she is survived by three daughters, Joyce Newell of Louisburg, Lonie Neal of Norlina, NC, and Rachel Yarborough (James) of Louisburg; six sons, John Earl Newell, William Newell (Karen) of Louisburg, Willie Newell of the home, Hubert Newell (Debra) of Georgia, Eugene Newell (Teresa) of Louisburg, and David Newell (Sherry) of Louisburg, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, July 17, from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
