ZEBULON - Rudy Vance Price, 65, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at Guardian Care of Zebulon. Funeral services were Monday, April 27, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service chapel, Knightdale, with Charlton Alexander officiating. Entombment followed in Gethesemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon, with military honors.

He was born in Wake County to the late Joe Henry Price and Ruth Inez Williams Price. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired as an agent with Allstate Insurance Company.

Surviving: wife, Janet Hatayama Price; son, Jason Price of Zebulon; daughter, Audra Price of Zebulon; brother, Gordon Price (Rachel) of Middlesex; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Joe Price and Bobby Price.
