WAKE FOREST — Mary Timberlake “Bug” Stroud, 84, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Sept. 12) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Fauida Frazier Timberlake and Monroe Timberlake. She was a member of Oak Level Christian Church and was owner and operator of Bug’s Beauty Shop for many years.

Surviving: daughter, Donna S. Meyers (Stu) of Wake Forest; son, Phil Stroud (Linda) of Wake Forest; brothers, Charles Timberlake of Raleigh and Billy Timberlake of Rolesville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Stroud.
