ALVIN J. HOUSE SR.


GIBSONVILLE - Alvin John House Sr. died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006 at the Hospice Home. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 7, at Kimesville Road Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. L. Franks and the Rev. Tommy Love officiating.

A native of Franklinton, he was the son of the late N.B. House and Flora Blackley House. He was a retired businessman and electrical contractor.

Surviving: his son, Jay (Linda) House of Swepsonville; sister, Eunice H. Barrow of Garner; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan H. Lewis; wives, Pauline Haney House, Irene W. House, and Betty Sawyer House; two sisters; and two brothers.
