RALEIGH – James “Jim” Leonard Perry, 88, of Raleigh, died Thursday morning.

Jim was a son of the late William Robert and Lillie Leonard Perry and was preceded in death by his sister, Ernestine Perry.

A memorial graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Perry; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen Perry; Sarah and Marty Mozingo, Anne and Randal Knight; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Alena Perry; granddaughter, Sarah Perry.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Easter Seals United Cerebral Palsy NC, 5171 Glenwood Ave.,  Suite 400, Raleigh, NC 27612-3266.
